Helping someone across the street never had so much meaning as on this day of this year.

A father wants to do some good - any good - on a day that threatens to break his spirit. Donning a cape, he tries to help a woman and child as they cross the street. It doesn't go well. Later, over a nostalgic meatloaf sandwich, he gets what he needs to make it through this long day and back home to the woman he shares his life with.

Composer Rob Wagner crafted a melodic score that sits somewhere between Randy Newman and Magnetic Fields, beautiful songs for a strange and funny story.
